The type of neighborhood, school district, commute, etc., are just some of the factors a new buyer should take into consideration when purchasing a home. It is also important for the agent to know when the move or relocation is planned. These details are generally discussed upon meeting an agent.

3. Proceed to Private Counseling Room

The Mody Agency offices are equipped with comfortable private counseling rooms where the customer can more clearly define the personal details of their home or property buying needs.

4. Discuss Housing Needs

Since the Mody Agency is a memeber of a 4 county multiple listing service and a member of The National Employee Relocation Council, a customer through our agency can have access to virtually any home on the market, county wide or nation wide. Discussing the price, rooms & amenities needed along with earlier details can help our agents make the best use of your time in finding the proper housing to tour.

5. Discuss Financing

All financial information given to our agents is strictly confidential. Along with financial information given to our agents to assess your search paramaters, our agents will thoroughly explain the many options you have in financing your new home or property and working with the many professionals; lawyers, bankers, insurance agents, inspectors, etc., you will encounter along the way.

6. Take Customer on Driving Tour of Area

There is much to see in determining the right area for you and your family. The earlier discussions at the Mody Agency office will have helped the agents in showing you the area more efficiently and to your satisfaction.

7. Set Up Walk Through of Schools, YMCA, and Places of Interest

If what you have seen on a driving tour is acceptable, a walking tour of key sites will be arranged. This is a great way to interact with the people of your potential new community.

8. Tour Homes That Might Interest Customer

Once you are comfortable with the area, a tour of homes that caught your eye will begin. If there are homes you missed but the agent feels have met your criteria, you will also be shown those homes to give you a full range of viable options.

9. Review Customers Thoughts on Tour of Area & Houses

It is important that your time with our agents be informative yet concise. We want to know if your time is being well spent and if you are seeing property that matches the details discussed earlier. Please be frank and thorough with our agents before and after the area & home tours so we can service you properly.

10. Give Customer Necessary Information to Take Home

Upon leaving our offices, you will be given much information to review at home. Most importantly is the Mody Agency Relocation Kit. There is a wealth of information on all aspects of real estate transactions, checklists of moving details and special information about the area in general.

11. Send Customer 3 Month Subscription to Local Newspaper

Seeing the area on a few tours is kind of an outside looking in approach to your potential new community. The Mody Agency will arrange a 3 month subscription to the area newspaper so you can get a greater feel for the area and the current events that may affect your lives in your future.

12. Follow Up With The Customer

A week later your agent will call to discuss any further thoughts or needs. Maybe a new house is on the market that may interest you or some new financing options have become available. Keeping you informed of any developments is an important process in our relationship with customers.
